Yolanda’s lectures were one of the best things about my master’s degree at Monash University. I was always looking forward to attending her TED-talk-quality lectures every week, where I came out feeling energised and inspired. Her delivery is authentic, powerful, stimulating and highly engaging. I really enjoyed how Yolanda managed to convey complex academic concepts in an easy to understand and entertaining way no less, especially through sharing highly relatable real-life examples.

I am a student of Dr. Yolanda in her Diversity and Inclusion class within the MBA (Exec) space. I want to say a massive thank you for all the tools I have learnt in the past 12 weeks.  Dr. Yolanda is very knowledgeable and passionate not only about the topic but also about teaching which is very refreshing to see.  She has empowered me with life skills and confidence that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I truly believe that the educators we meet in our journey can change who we are and how we work, and I can assure that Dr. Yolanda has definitely made a mark for me. Thank you once again Dr. Yolanda, you are an inspiration.

Yolanda is an exceptionally talented force for good and would be an enormous asset for any organisation with a social mission. I have known Yolanda for over 10 years and highly recommend her as a gender equality advocate and incredible speaker, policy analyst and lobbyist. Yolanda and I attended the very first APEC Women and the Economy Forum together in St Petersburg in 2012. Yolanda presented her research as a keynote address and was highly engaging and informative. I have followed Yolanda’s career since this time and have been blown away by her achievements and tireless work as a trailblazer, and her willingness to mentor, educate and develop the next generation.

Yolanda is one of the most dynamic, connected executives in Australia. Never shy to knock down a door to get a meeting she constantly impresses with her ability to create valuable linkages between various people. Recommend highly.

Yolanda is a remarkable woman with amazing energy and courage. She spoke at our women’s leadership development program, Great Leaders Are Made, about her leadership journey and provided practical advice to the participants for networking with purpose, career management and their own leadership journey. The participants found her to be inspiring, down to earth and engaging.

Yolanda Vega is a magnificent example of a leader in action. Yolanda has a deep passion for advocacy and the failings of our governments to support women in business. She is forthright, eloquent, insightful and courageous. I’ve seen many many people in leadership roles in my lifetime… sadly I’ve seen very few who actually lead. Yolanda has and does lead; every day and this country is a better place for that fact.
